Serbia's former president, Tomislav Nikolic, will be one of the dinner guests held tonight in Belgrade in honour of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to Serbian media, the honour for that. Nicolek took it a year ago.
The former Serbian president currently heads the office for co-operation between Serbia and Russia and China. Journalists asked him to comment on Putin's visit to Serbia, and briefly he replied “, good day, how are you and what you want?
He has then said it is a big <x0day for Serbia, [Russia] is a very big friend, and many agreements are expected to be reached and signed. And they have not only reiterated Russia's strong support for Serbia but also the possibility for Serbia to insist on its territorial freedom”, Nikolic has commented.
Asked by journalists, meanwhile, if he has used this visit to organise meetings with Russian and Chinese businessmen, he has said these organisations take two to three months' time.
You can never know when something was arranged and at the same time we're not happy it happened, but that's how it happened and we have two meetings that were so important”, he said, B92 reported. /Periscopi
