Mustafa's tax decision calls “populist”: Government Go Home

After meeting with the Democratic League of Kosovo branch heads, Isa Mustafa has counted some of the “failures, as he has named Kosovo Government.

Mustafa has cited the number of deputy ministers, advisers, implementation of international agreements, and economic issues.

The first of the LDK, counting these reasons, has estimated that the time has come for this government to go home”, Telegrafi reports.

“We consider that this government should change its behaviour, go home, because the government has questioned our reports with the EU, the SAA agreement and has questioned the implementation of the agenda of reforms that had been directed towards the EU. The government wants to take the eyes of citizens, shifting visa guilt to Brussels alone, while these people have blocked demarcation with Montenegro with false cause”, Isa Mustafa said.

The former Kosovo prime minister also spoke of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.

In this direction, Mustafa said there are different positions in Kosovo institutions regarding the continuation of negotiations.

That government's decisions on the tax on Serbian products called “the population”, while he said that by these decisions Government “is not considering Trump's letter”.

For us, it is meaningless that Kosovo institutions, which have received a letter from Trump that requires that we be cautious about decisions, and that the government, for its own reasons, adds the tax, rather than being considerate of the letter coming from a friendly state. We consider that institutions should assume responsibility for the dialogue, the moment we have three concepts of dialogue. One of the president, one of the government's drafts, and one of the negotiator team”, Mustafa said away.
