Kosovo also deals with embassy in Portugal

On Thursday, through an official ceremony by the host state, the first ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to the Portuguese state was officially accepted, Mr. Ylber Kryeziu, who handed over credentials to the president of the Portuguese Republic, Marcelo Rebello de Sosa. In this case, Ambassador Kryeziu conveyed to the president of this state de Sosa congratulations to the president of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Hashim Thaci, and the Institute's commitment to deepening and expanding further relations between the two countries and the two peoples”, is highlighted in the communique.
The Republic of Kosovo decided to open the Embassy in the Portuguese state for the first time in the past year, which was welcomed and praised by the authorities of the host state as well.
Portugal had recognised the Republic of Kosovo a few months after its declaration of independence and has consistently offered support for consolidating the new state and its integration into the International Organisations.
