Through a Facebook post, Haradinaj has said Ismail Kemal has left Albanians a legacy of independence.
“Today a century ago, the founding strateg of the modern Albanian state, Ismail Qemail Vlora, which was left to Albanians with the eternal heritage, Albania, and beyond. Inspiracy for Albanian nationals, guides and emblems, as the first chairman of the Albanian government, brought Albanians together to line up with the ideals of freedom, for a state based on Western values”, Haradinaj wrote.
Ismail Kemal was an Albanian politician, also known as the first chairman of Albania's government.
On November 28, 1912 Kemal declared Albania's independence in Vlora.
Kemal died seven years after Albania's proclamation of independence on 24 January 1912. /Periscopi/
