Another meeting with US Ambassador to Kosovo Philip Costnet is expected to have Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.
A source within the ruling coalition has told the Koha.net portal, that this may be crucial either to the tax or to the Government.
While speaking on condition of anonymity, this source has said that this issue will eventually be decided within this week.
Serbian Prime Minister Haradinaj will speak tomorrow ( Thursday) with Ambassador Costet. They'll have a date. This week, the tax will be decided to be removed or the government will drop”, this source said.
The portal could not confirm from the prime minister's office the possible meeting with Ambassador Costet.
What is known is that pressure on Haradinaj has significantly increased. John Bolton, President Donald Trump's security adviser, called him today. The topic of discussion was the removal of the tax confirmed in KTV's Rubik, AAK Deputy Chairman Ardian Gjini.
And as far as I know it's been mentioned that it was best to suspend the tax and which was the rest of the conversation I don't know. I know it was a constructive conversation”, he said.
Prior to the call with Bolton, Haradinaj has used a 22nd anniversary of the Fall of the Nation's Heroes, Zahir Pajaziti, Edmond Hoxha and Hakif Zemenu in Junik to deliver strong messages that do not waver from his position on the tax. He has said it is being called on to maintain partnership with the US, but this partnership is not meant when the Special Court's abolition has been attempted. He has said the attempt to abolish the Special was done for himself because together with Veselin and Hashim Thaci were afraid of it.
If we open the door for 120 days, we don't need it shut down anymore, it doesn't matter anymore. That the shit that goes in for those 120 days is here for 10 years”, he said.
In the evening, about 3 hours has extended a meeting of coalition leaders in Haradinaj's office. Besides him there were Kadri Wessel PDK, Fatmir Limaj of the AKR's Behgjet Pacolli Initiative. A few details were told from the meeting. The four have avoided journalists waiting outside the fences of the building.
The government has sufficed with a statement for the media, where it has said that, among other things, the tax has been spoken about, but has guaranteed that the coalition is stable and functional.
Limaj was very few words. In a post on the initiative's official website on the social network Facebook, Kosovo has said it has known even in more difficult times to find the strength for unity. For him, Limaj, who is also co-chairman of the State Team for Dialogue with Serbia, has said he is working even now.
Time.net has tried to take a stand around the evening meeting by Kadri Wessel. It was impossible. But during the day, His PDK has written a long letter calling for tax suspension, as well as openly against Haradinaj's idea of an international Conference on Kosovo. /Time.net
