It's “French President Emmanuel Macron has responded with the same currency to the criticism of two Italian deputy prime ministers, Matteo Salvin and Louis di Maio, against his presidency.
For the chief of “Elise”, the fierce struggle of words between Paris and Rome is enough to prove that the Italian people deserve better leadership to justify the opportunity that history has given them.
The only director in Italy, considered worthy according to Macroni, is Prime Minister Giuseppe Cita.
The French president did not spare the sarcasm to the Italian government coalition when he wished them luck in his open fight with him and France, and then tried to minimize the importance of such friction for his country.
Last week, the two countries were involved in a tense situation, following Di Maios' statements from “The populist movement 5 stars”, under which France has impoverished Africa. Salvin joined the attack, naming Macron “a terrible president”, before urging French voters to show disappointment with him in May's European elections, follows the TCh.
Salvin is thought to be feeding antiMacron sentiments across Europe, in a bid to organise a right-wing populist challenge to the liberal Proeuronian centre in May's European Parliament elections.
