The petition for changing Law No concluded on Sunday. 03 L-041 for the Commission's Administrative Borders aimed at uniting the town of Mitrovica. The idea of joining two Mitrovica municipalities has been initiated by South Mitrovica Mayor Agim Bahtiri, following North Mitrovica Mayor Goran Rakic's resignation, who through a statement has announced that he has cut off communication with the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, along with three other mayors of northern municipalities, Stevan Vulovic (Zubin Potok), Zoran Todic (Leposaviq) and Vucina Jankov (Zvecan) following the 100 per cent tax imposed on imports of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Meanwhile, the petition that has been signed in Mitrovica has come as a result of the rejection of the Ministry of Local Power of the Republic of Kosovo's Ministry of Management, led by the parallel chairman of Zvecan Ivan Teodosieviq, that the decision of the Mitrovica Assembly and Chairman Bahtiri to change the No Law. 03 L-041 for the Commission's Administrative Borders aimed at uniting the town of Mitrovica.
