Shkelzen Maliqi: Final Agreement Brings recognition of Serbia

Political analyst Shkelzen Maliqi has commented on the issue of the final phase of the Kosovo dialogue, Serbia, while stressing that a final agreement between the two sides would imply recognition of the reality of Kosovo on Serbia's part.

The analyst Maliqi has given these statements to Kosovo's Info Magazine today, while naming the demands of the Valley leaders as legitimate issues:

This is what the Valley leaders have done is legitimate”.

” I am not fully sure that a peace could be reached by this” agreement.

”S first we have two Security Council members supporting the agreement, but no open statements are US and France”.

” Yes, we don't know what that deal contains.”

There is no concrete exchange of territories here. Until you know which part of the valley can enter the combination. Serbia should be more democratic”.

” The redressing of Milosevic's image is a logic of them is schizophrenic that simultaneously maintains very good reports with Russia, as well as with the EU”.

And that's when we enter the EU we need to know exactly what the limit is”.

The final agreement implies that Serbia agrees with Kosovo's reality that it recognises its independence. What comes next is more extenuating both for Albanians and for Serbs”.

”Vukiqi expresses the wish that Weyri be part of Serbia, but I don't believe that there are progressive steps in this respect”.
