During this court hearing, the accused is expected to provide protection.
Charged for this tender are former KEK director Arben Djukaj, former head of Procuratory Organisation Hysni Hoxha, former Skyeraj Mayor Sami Lushtaku, Esat Tahiri, Milazizim Lushtaku, Driton Prusth of Azem Duraku.
In this case, Esat Tahiri and Milazim Lushtaku are charged with criminal fraud, former procurement director Driton Pruthi, former KEK director Arben Djukaj and former O'head Hysni Hoxha's KPS is accused of misuse of office or official authorisation, former Skyeraj leader Sami Lushtaku is accused of pushing for abuse of official office, while Azem Duraku is accused of inciting abuse.
The issue of this KEK tender had gone earlier until the Constitutional Court, which rejected the indictees' request to set temporary measures for the process.
