Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said Russia welcomes dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade, as well as has called for agreements reached by this dialogue to be implemented.
The principles of Resolution 1244 are necessary. We welcome the direct dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade, but the most important is that what is accomplished through dialogue is truly realised”, Lavrov said, during a visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday.
He has stressed all the foreign players in the Balkans should not create any conflict situation and that no one should think that he alone has the right to deal with the situation in the Balkans and others should not.
After meetings with Bosnia and Herzegovina authorities, Lavrov has said Russia supports Bosnia and Herzegovina's integrity and sovereignty. /rel
