Police director's idea of removing police from the mosque, unacceptable to BIKU

The idea of the new Kosovo Police Director Rashit Qalaj to remove Kosovo police officers from religious objects, churches and mosques is unacceptable to the Islamic Community of Kosovo. From this institution, it is seen as a flagrant violation of human rights, the Qalaj idea of leaving the mosque. Ahmet Sadriu [...]
Ahmet Sadriou from BIK has declared today that the Kosovo Police Director's statement has not taken seriously, says his statement has seen it more in the spirit of changes after coming to its new position than his real goal.
And if we don't get into issues that are the police that everyone coming in has something new, that's the rule that they're going to say they're going to make changes this way I personally got”, Sadriu declared.
He has said BIK respects all of Kosovo's laws that are in place and as such would seek to respect all laws, but says such an act is a violation of human rights, so it would be unacceptable.
Otherwise these things are guaranteed with the Constitution of Kosovo, with standards of the Kosovo legislature, what is allowed, we will seek to apply, what is prohibited by law, and by regulation then we will not mix and respect all of these, the state, the laws of Kosovo and the Constitution of the country”.
I personally do not accept this, this is a violation of human rights directives, we as an institution will react because we refuse and it is a violation of human rights and also violation of the Constitution”, he has declared for the Inseder.
Sadriu says such an act should raise reactions even in civil society because it is a flagrant violation of human rights. The prayer is an obligation for the Muslim believers, as it explains that religion sees that the security organs do not endanger anyone in order to carry out this religious obligation.
Here in Kosovo is this issue has been put into the human rights chapter, now if we take this is exactly a violation of human rights and we have to react to civil society and all because it's a flagrant violation, while for the Muslim believer who is normally binding on prayer, but under certain circumstances, the religion prevents life that dares not be endangered and there are many things here, Sadriu has declared.
Unlike yesterday in an interview, the new Kosovo Police Director, Rashit Qalaj, has declared he wants to bring order to the Kosovo Police. He said he wants to get the cops off religious sites.
He has also stated that there is no rule that prohibits going to religious objects for prayer during working hours, yet this is not desirable, as they cannot be fully in charge of the task.
