At least 88 bottles of wine have been paid by former Prime Minister Hashim Thaci, with taxpayers' money, on formal lunches and dinners within 20 months of his rule, in a country where the minimum wage is 130 euros and a portion of workers have salaries even lower than the minimum. At least 88 bottles of wine have been paid by former Prime Minister Hashim Thaci, with taxpayers' money, on formal lunches and dinners within 20 months of his rule, in a country where the minimum wage is 130 euros and a portion of workers have salaries even lower than the minimum.
Callo.com has calculated part of the bills in which expensive Italian wines are present, Periscope notes.
For 88 bottles of open wine in 2011-2012, the period for which KALLXO.com has provided the bills of expenditures -- the state budget has paid about 6,600 euros.
The prime minister's favorite of the time was the Italian wine of Amarone.
The estimated bills reveal that Thaci has paid 79 such wines, ranging from 60 to 90 euros per bottle.
