Kusari-Lila strangely reasons the investigation against her: It's an old case

She had previously been investigated by the Kosovo Special Prosecutor over her work as Minister of Trade and Industry.

Investigations have been opened based on a criminal outcry filed with the Prosecutor. This criminal charge includes Kusari-Lila in the service of a private company car “Mabetex Holding”.

Kusari-Lila says this case is old, and that it has been reportedly firing investigations into the case.

The Gjilan Prosecutor's Case is two years old, and I have been informed that I have ceased investigations”, it said briefly in a pronomation for Indexline.

It is also under investigation for the privatisation of four hydropower plants from the Kosovo government in co-operation with KED in 2013.

“While in the case of the privatisation of the KED Hidrocentrals, I think it is an issue that should be clearly demonstrated what the government Commission's responsibility for privatisation was for and who brought the decision for privatisation”, it has stressed further during the conversation.

Indescsonline has contacted the Gjilan Prosecutor for additional details, but the same have not been available to answer questions about the case.
