Serbia charged with crimes against Albanians: I feel innocent

Zajiq is accused of actively participating in the persecution of his Albanian neighbours in the village of Dush, Kline, in June 1998.
But when asked by the chairman of the court at the Criminal Court during today's hearing, Zajzic said he feels innocent.
“I am innocent of the charges charged to”, Zajic said.
He is accused of involvement in the persecution of his neighbours by offering his home as the basis for the Serbian armed forces by shooting at Albanian homes.
Kosovo's Special Prosecutor claims that June 19th 1998, Zajqi had launched the battle against Albanians.
According to the indictment, he was seen from the neighbours while unloading weapons from his Zastava car, and by evening alone he had started shooting at Albanian homes.
Of these attacks, three elderly Zade, Osman and Haradin Marmulaku remained burned in their homes.
Victims of these attacks were four other residents killed by the wife and daughter of the injured Jamie Marmulaku and Ismet of the Marmulaku Union. /Call
