Special Prosecutor, Drita Hajdari, has exposed her former retired colleague, that there has been pressure from Chief State Prosecutor Alexander Lumezi to investigate and establish the indictment in the case of “Proto”. In her response to former special prosecutor's claims, she stresses that her indictment has sent her to the tribunal.
The prosecutor who, five months ago, pressed charges against 11 people suspected in the vicinity of “Proto”, Drita Hajdari denies having had any pressure or interference in her course from State Prosecutor Alexander Lumezi.
Hajdari said she has done her job and prosecuted her in court.
I have told mine, by myself, that I have sent the indictment and done my work”, the special prosecutor said Thursday.
Former special prosecutor Elez Blakaj, in a letter published on Facebook after leaving Kosovo, has accused Chief Prosecutor Lumezi of trying to intimidate him by sending to the disciplinary commission if he does not review the indictment of the case “Proto”. Otherwise, the indictment “Proto”, against 11 characters of this year's familiar wiretap, was established on April 6th by the Special Prosecutor.
Among the accused are two former representatives of the PDK parliamentary group, Adem Grabovci and Zenun Pajaziti, as well as a government minister of the same party, Besim Beqaj.
