Commenting on Kosovo Assembly head Kadri Veselini's warning for Kosovo investments in Mitrovica and that his plan extends to both sides of the Iber River, separating the north from southern Mitrovica, Rakiq said that Wessel can build towers and cities on Serbian soil only through us dead, and warned that he would not prove anything like that.
Different, leader of The PDK has conceived a plan for major investments in Mitrovica which will extend to both sides of the Iber River.
The New Mitrovica” project envisions the total renovation of the “Adem Jashari” stadium, the expansion of its parking lot, the construction of an Aqua-Paku around this space, and the construction of collective residential objects around the artificial lake.
But the most ambitious part of this plan conceived by Wessel passes beyond the Iber River. In the villages of Suhodol, Gushavc and Vinarch, along with the Iber River, but even deep down, the money is built to build high residential objects, up from three floors. Schools, sports, and medical centers are also expected to be built in this area.
The project also envisions fixing the bed of the Iber River and pedestrian and bicycle space. On the one hand, this project extends from Mitrovica to Zvecan's Bosniaks' Mosque, and on the other, runs as far as Kostov's Zupc.
In order for this plan to be realised, the entire area must be announced as the Supreme Building Zone.
Last Thursday, Wessel visited the “Adem Jashari” stadium in Mitrovica, where he also presented the project for his overall renovation.
