The president's controversial proposal for border correction has essentially damaged the current efforts, ours and the international community to create favourable circumstances for the Serb community to be an active and equal part of institutional life in Kosovo.

The proposal for border correction is directly helping the rejection policy of Serbian community political representatives towards Kosovo institutions, as well as feeding them their hope that Kosovo can be divided and a part of it may be attached to Serbia.

So many years of work, investments and jobs by us and our international friends are now being damaged by the president of the state, who should in fact be a guardian of the constitutional order and averse to such unconstitutional ideas.

The new elections will produce a legitimate government and assembly, which take over the country's fate and prevent the president from shopping with Kosovo citizenship.

The new government will eliminate the political uncertainty that has engulfed the state of Kosovo and misled our international friends about what Kosovo citizens want.

We remain steadfast in our ideal for a democratic and independent Kosovo in its territorial integrity, developed at every corner of it, with equal opportunities for all indiscriminately integrated into the EU and NATO, as well as in permanent friendship with the US.
