On September 16th 2011, former Prime Minister Hashim Thaci had spent nearly 6 thousand euros on his trip to the US and another 6 thousand for his adviser, Bekim Colak.
After returning, he had shown who he had met with and had promised irrevocable borders for Kosovo.
Eleven thousand and 400 euros had cost former prime minister's tickets with his adviser. Five thousand and 700 euros had cost Hashim Thaci's ticket, and so had Bekim Colak's ticket to the US.
In bills received after 6 years by BIRN, it turns out his September 17th ticket has cost the state ark 5 thousand and 715 euros.
And after 10 days of stay there, on September 26th of that year, referring to the prime minister's office, Thaci had also declared that the message given is that our country remains on unchanged borders.
“Kosovo is one, inseparably unique, with unchanged borders and full international support”, is the title of the communique published on the page of the Prime Minister's Office.
“ ... but it is also the message that Kosovo is one, inseparably unique, with unchanged borders and full international support”, had declared Hashim Thaci as prime minister 6 years ago.
But, today Hashim Thaci president has another opinion on the boundaries he once considered to be unchanged.
Says correction of the borders will be a topic in Brussels talks.
He had even expressed confidence in visa liberalisation, which has not been lived today.
“Flas with full confidence that October will be the month of dedication to the concrete bid from Brussels for Kosovo for the visa liberalisation process, contractual relations and trade relations. This is happening for the first time for Kosovo, and in fact de-youre Kosovo will treat the et as state from EU countries”, he had said, wrote Kalxho.
And during his visit to New York, Thaci had also met with Turkish counterpart Recep Tayip Erdogan.
