Gashi says Sylejman Selimi and Jahir Demak are being held in prison without judicial ruling

He has said that since June 11th, Selimi and Demak are being held there without any judicial rulings, since the Supreme and Constitutional Court has made a decision and sent the decree that all previous acts of judgment be annulled.

According to him, this law-language ruling means that Sylejman Selimi should be released, but that certain persons and political reasons are holding him in Dubrava.

“Selim is deliberately sacrificing for unknown reasons, the legal reason is not for them to endure punishment. This is after the Supreme Court has ruled to annul the earlier judgments, which would mean they are being held unjustly. This Supreme decision is not being implemented by the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica, and without a judicial decision they are being held there. In the civilized world, there is no way that anyone can be held when the decision is issued so that previous acts of judgment can be annulled. That means they're innocent” said Gashi.
