In the announcement made by Aldy and Lidl, it is said that in the event England qualify for the Russian 2018 World Championship final, all shops will be closed locally at 1500, enabling workers to attend the match.

While Iceland announced that in the event England remains in the finals, all shops across the country will close at 14.00 local times on Sunday.

Shop chains also disclosed that the salaries of all employees will be paid fully.

Aldy employs 30,000, Lidl 20,000 and Ireland 22 thousand people.

England will face Croatia at the World semifinal tomorrow. The winner of the match will qualify at the championship final, to be held Sunday.
