Turkish state news agency Anadolu has reported 13 July that the deal to sell Turkish helicopters, T129 The ATAK, is signed between the Turkish Airspace Industry and the Ministry for Defence in Pakistan.
Under the deal, Turkey will also provide logistics, training and ammunition services, Anadolu has reported.
The agency has not announced the figure of the deal, but Turkish media have reported on a pact worth $1.5 billion.
Pakistan has been seeking new suppliers for military equipment since September, after the United States has announced that they will suspend military assistance worth $1 billion, since US President Donald Trump has estimated that Islamabad has failed to destroy the secure “48x1> of the Taliban in Pakistan.
