Syria Conflict: Israel evacuates White Health

Israel says it has carried out an evacuation of members of the civil protection group known as the White Helmets (White Helmets) of Syria from a war zone in southwest Syria. Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) said they had acted on a request from the United States and European countries. About 800 people were evacuated [...]
Some 800 people were evacuated to Jordan through Israel's overnight occupied Golan, Israeli media say. White helmets describe themselves as a volunteer workforce operating to save people in areas of the Syrian war.
Although they operate only in areas held by the rebels, they say they are not Partisans.
Supporters of President Bashar al-Assad and his Russian ally say the White Helmets support the rebels and also have links with jihadist groups.
The white helmets, evacuated, had worked in an area controlled by the Syrian opposition in the southwestern country and were blocked by a government offensive.
The IDF said they had “completed a humanitarian effort to save members of a Syrian civil organisation and their families”, saying there was an immediate “threat to their lives”.
They said that civilians were transferred through Israel and then to a neighboring country.
Although Israel is not directly involved in the Syria conflict, the two countries have been in a state of war for decades, writes The Guardian.
Despite the intervention, the IDF said “Israel continues to hold a policy without interference over the Syrian conflict”.
Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nahshon later confirmed that the displaced were members of the White House.
However, the Jordan government confirmed it had “authorised the United Nations to organise the passage of 800 Syrian citizens across Jordan to move to Western countries”.
He said that “Britania, Germany and Canada made a legally binding obligation to restore them within a set period of time due to the risk of their lives”.
The members of the White Helmet and their families will be kept in a limited <x0zone” of Jordan.
The Syrian government launched a major offensive in June to regain areas protected by rebels in the areas of Derala and Queitra.
Under a series of agreements, rebel forces have moved to areas held in the capital, north of the country, then with the Syrian army moving to take control
