Serbia begins signing signatures to undermine Kosovo's UN membership

Through an initiative initiated by the leader of the People's Party, Serbia's former foreign minister, Vuk Jeremic, has begun collecting signatures not to allow Kosovo to gain seats in the United Nations organisation.
Calling for this initiative to join as many people as possible, Jeremic says Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, is negotiating that Kosovo gain membership in international organisations.
“The only one who has in his interest to dialogue Kosovo's status is President Alexander Vuciq, because he is willing to establish his signature to enable Kosovo UN membership.”, Jeremic said. Regarding Jeremic's initiative, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic has also reacted.
He has not seriously named this Serbian People's Party initiative.
We hit the wall because they were on duty at the time. Today, if this wasn't a serious matter, it would just make me laugh”, Stefanovic said. On the other hand, political analysts in Serbia do not see this initiative as very serious. According to them, the decision-making power has the largest current president, Alexander Vuciq, and that such a thing depends on the agreements reached in Brussels.
