More than half of Russians believe that American astronauts have never landed on the moon and that American authorities and NASA have covered this fact by counterfeiting data, a new poll shows, writes Periscope.
In a new study titled “Science and Society: Authority and trust” V experts TSIOM, the state public opinion research centre, said 57% of Russians actually think that the US claim to the successful mission on the moon is a lie and that evidence for such a thing has been falsified. Only 24 percent of the newcomers felt that the mission was real.
However, the Russians are not just suspicious of American missions in the moon. 59 percent of them believe that <x0cientists hide the truth from the common people”. Even among highly educated Russians, there was a very high percentage of them that posed such doubts. /Periscopi
