US federal authorities have arrested a Russian woman for spying. Arrested is Maria Bhutina, 29, who worked for a Russian legal representative in the Kremlin with the aim of infiltrated political organizations.
Busina turns out to be related to Noa, the mighty American weapons lobby.
According to investigators, it was developing connections with Americans and infiltrated organizations that have influence on American politics with the aim of advancing Russian interests.
Busina was arrested this Monday, while the first hearing against her will be held Wednesday.
“29-year-old worked for a high-level representative in the Russian government, who previously was part of the Russian Central Bank's high-level”, the US Justice Department said in the official stance.
Also being investigated to find out if Noa has secretly financed the American President Donald Trump's election campaign.
