An official NATO has told the DPA news agency that the 5th Article of the Atlantic North Alliance is stable, and reaffirms what “attack on one member is an attack on all”, Periscope reports.
These statements to Trump had answered the journalist's question of why Americans must fight to protect Albania, or Montenegro.
Trump's interview for Fox Nea came days after the NATO Summit and meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki.
Trump commented on these two meetings as very successful, stressing that thanks only to its insistence, all member states are already contributing more to NATO and that the organisation already has about $44 billion more in the budget./Periscope. /
