A man caught forcing his elderly mother to eat grass is being investigated by Chinese police.

The man from a village in the Chinese province of Hunan has been filmed putting in his mother's mouth grass, which had argued with his wife, telegraphies.

According to the village's elder, the man in the video known only as Liang's is about the '50s, and his mother around the '80s. Meanwhile, an official of the province's Hunan province, Zhao Longcan, has declared that the horrific event occurred on the 13th afternoon of July.

He said Liang's wife wanted to use his mother's house, but she had not allowed it, so they started fighting in the yard. And when Liang heard the noise, he appeared at the scene of the event, and without second thought began to fill his mother's mouth with grass.
