The “Russia” 2018 world championship has awakened the Albanians' great interest, as four fellow countrymen of Switzerland's representative were present; Gerdan Shaqiri, Granit Jaka, Valon Behrami and Blerim Xhemajli.

However, after Switzerland was eliminated from Sweden, Kosovars largely supported Croatia's representative, as the latter is known to be a major rival of Serbia.

However, in tomorrow's final between Croatia and France, a Kosovo city has chosen to further support “gelet”.
