Kosovo received the long-awaited news of opening the road towards free movement and drawing together with the large European family!
The people of Kosovo, for many reasons, enjoy today the European Commission's positive recommendation for free movement in EU countries, being equally valued with all other citizens of the region and European ones.
With much commitment and vision, the Government that I lead, throughout all these months, has worked hard, in meeting the EU's last criteria.
Aware of the challenges, we will intensify the fight against corruption and organised crime and the continued strengthening of rule of law, in the belief that Parliament and the European Council will respect the recommendation of the Commission and Kosovo citizens will move without visas.
Liberalisation for Kosovo will be discussed by the end of August in the European Parliament, while the entire process is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
