The Argentina Football Federation is expected to make the decision this week, but if the latter decide to sack the former Chilean coach, then the pay a total of 15m euros.
All because Sampaoli has contracts with Argentina until 2022.
Sampaoli and Argentina were eliminated from the World Championship in the 1/8th phase of the final, following France's loss of 4-3.
