European teams dominated an unforgettable month in Russia. Ten of Europe's fourteen representatives successfully passed the group phase, six out of eight of them reached the quarterfinals, and four semifinalists were from Europe”, the Cefer said in an article in UEFA's Web, with the title “The European Framework at the World Cup”.
Slovenian leader congratulated the federations of the two finalists and their presidents, Noel Le Graet of France and Davor Suker of Croatia, for the wonderful achievement, while “gelet” has returned to crown world champions after twenty years.
