Russian police have arrested a man suspected of spying on the training camp of the National of England, local media have reported.
These media, writes Independent, have said that the man in question has been observed making suspicious gestures at a peak of a 180m house away from England's base during yesterday.
He was arrested by security officials and sent to holding at a local police station.
At the station, he was asked to erase pictures of the English camp, and he was released without an indictment.
The detainee conveys Periscopi said he was on the roof of the house as part of his routine to do repairs. According to him, he had had no intention of seeing the English national preparations.
Reports say he was spying on Croatia, but offered no evidence in the case.
Tensions have been raised between Moscow and Zagreb after a video presented Croatian defender Domajgo Vida while saying pro-Ukrainian populist greetings, along with his already expelled assistant from the Croatian National, Ognjen Vukojevic, broadcasts Periskopi
In a video posted on Facebook, Vida shouted “Glory to Ukraine! ” as Vukojevic added: “This victory [against Russia] is for Dinamon [Cjevev] and Ukraine. ”
England plays against Croatia in the evening at Luzhniki Stadium, to secure a place in the finals where it will face France. This would be their first final since the 1966 World Cup victory. /Periscopi
