At this statement he has said his party since 2010 has been engaged between northern Kosovo and the Presevo Valley.
“There can be no sustainable solution by talking only about Serbs and only about Kosovo”, says this statement in which it writes:
“Today, the Assembly of Albanian Councillors of three eastern Kosovo municipalities through a statement stated once again that Albanians in this part undergo continued discrimination from the Serbian state. They also demanded that the interests of the Eastern Kosovo Albanians be laid out as a topic of discussion in talks between Kosovo and Serbia. At the same time, they rightly demanded that the same rights being offered to Serbs in northern Kosovo be granted to Albanians in eastern Kosovo.
The 2010 Union Movement has insisted that the only right principle to resolve the Albanian-Serbian issue is the principle of reciprocity. We are convinced that the only way to normalise relations between Kosovo and Serbia, to stabilise Kosovo, but also the region, is that the same rights apply to both peoples. There can be no sustainable solution by talking only about Serbs and only Kosovo. So those solutions offered to Serbs in Kosovo's three northern municipalities apply to Albanians in eastern Kosovo, or the same rights that have been guaranteed to Serbs in Kosovo to apply to all Albanians living in Serbia. It is very important that the principle of reciprocity has begun to be institutionalised as the application of Albanians in eastern Kosovo. The political class in Kosovo, in position and opposition not only should support these requirements because of the obligation to our people there, but also because by introducing the reciprocity principle in the talks with Serbia, the way through which Kosovo becomes a stable and normal state” follows.
