It started around 0930 hearings at the Independent Qualification Commission for a Supreme Court member, Judge Admir Thanza.
The ONM has discovered that Judge Thanza has been convicted of theft in the Italian state, given that he has not declared it on form.
“Admir Thanza has been sentenced from the first instance in Italy in 1999 to 40 days in prison and 100,000 euros in fines, for stealing in collaboration with other persons”, was the conclusion read by the UNM.
Judge Thanza himself has accepted the sentence in the Italian state, but stressed he has not committed the crime he was charged with.
I've accepted the work then because of humanism and family causes, but I've never done it”, Thanza said. / TCh/
