About 150 drivers' patents in Albania, majority of Kosovo citizens

Most are citizens from Kosovo, but there are also Czechs, Poles and Italians who, according to procedures, have to run for weeks in Albanian institutions to pull the license. On the Tirana-Durra highway alone, 39 driving permits for speed across the allowed rates have been suspended during the last 48 hours.
On Saturday in Tirana during a meeting with Albanian counterpart Fatmir Xhafaj, Interior Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Baytush Gashi addressed the concern it has to do with the road safety of Kosovo citizens during the summer season, and especially with the way the patents are handled, with the way to address cases of management of these patents when problems arise due to disrespecting the rules, where a long procedure is needed to return or to re-use drivers through a very long bureaucracy, which currently has Albania.
