Serbian President Aleksandar Vucif's public message that “the major powers do not know, do not intend to respect Resolution 1244, respectively, and that means that we have very little opportunity to do something” is dedicated to internal opinion and to the West prior to the new phase of negotiations with Kosovo.
“In recent times Vuciq is preparing the opinion in Serbia that it is possible that complete disaster regarding Kosovo is possible and that in this case a new geopolitical position of Serbia -- that is, a greater return to Russia” -- have said sources of this newspaper from Belgrade, Coha.net broadcast.
According to them, Vuciq still hopes in concessions from the West, that the West, including the US and the EU, will assess that because of the peace and stability of the Western Balkans, Serbia will not be pushed into even greater embrace towards Russia.
