About 254 deputies voted in favour of Danyliouk's dismissal, proposed by Prime Minister Voldymyr Groisman.
It is the second time in more than two years that changes the title of this key post for a country that depends on Western financial assistance and continues to be involved in an armed conflict in the east. Oleksander Danyliouk, 42, who has held these functions for two years has been under pressure since May 23rd, the date he failed to appoint his adviser to the deputy ministerial post.
He accused the prime minister at the time of blocking his appointment and of seeking to sabotage the reforms he was trying to carry out.
