When he was asked to comment on Washington Post reports, about claims that United States President Donald Trump has offered a lucrative offer to France, French President Emmanuel Macron stated “what was talked about in the room, remains there”.
According to the newspaper, which quoted European officials, during a April 24th meeting when Macro was present at the White House, Trump told him “why don't you leave the European Union?”, reported “Sputnik International” Transmission Periscope.
He then offered France a bilateral trade agreement with “terma better than the EU as a whole gets from the United States”.
It is also reported that President Trump may have said the European Union is the worst “than China” in trade.
In March, the United States presented a 25 per cent fee on steel imports and a 10 per cent tax on aluminum imports. /Periscopi/
