Turkey's president, Recep Tayip Erdogan, has praised the performance of Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo in the match in front of Spain, adding that the football player's stance on the Palestinian issue as well.

Erdogan has answered the questions of young participants in the “Youth and Technological Meeting” programme, held in the Turkish Airspace Industry.

Asked about the World Cup favourite and the comparison between Argentina football player Lionel Messi and Ronaldos, President Erdoğan said:

Among other things Erdoğan has highlighted the three goals scored by Ronaldo in the Portugal-Spane match, which played evenly.
