Skenderaj celebrates the 19th anniversary of liberation, view from 1999 (VIDEO)

The 19th anniversary of Skywright's liberation has started with a homazhe on “Adem Jashari” Square in this city, as well as at the Memorial Complex “Adem Jashari”, in Prekaz.

In this case, municipality chairman Bekim Jashari said he is contributing to this day to the Kosovo Liberation Army at the helm with Commander Adem Jashari and all the heroes side-by-side the Albanian nation.

“Once and for all time, Albanians and Kosovo no longer need future generations to face those sufferings, with that unprecedented genocide. We today celebrated the best and most dignified way, just as it befits us, because this people deserve to celebrate because they suffer a lot. Likewise, we have an obligation to work hard, as our well-known writer “said, working night and day to see some light”. We will give as much as we know and we can develop this place for a better future for our children. Eternal glory to all those who fell for the day of beholding”, Jashar said.

The mayor of the municipality, along with other municipal officials, has also paid tribute at the Memorial of the martyrs complex in Morina.

And during the day for honour of this day there will also be a solemn assembly meeting of the municipality, as well as other cultural-artistic activities.
