This was a very strong and surprising group, with current world champions coming last. The first one was Sweden, the second Mexican íxia across and third to South Korea.
The best group team, arguedly, is Sweden, which lost only from the last country in the group to Germany and in the last few minutes. Sweden is not being led by Bosnian-born player Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was left at home by the Nordic national coach.
The best player in the group is Andreas Granqvist, a defender who executed two penaltys accurately, and who, with the organisation of the game in the defence phase, being captain, caused Sweden not to get a goal in two matches.
Granqvist is 33 years old and plays for Helsingboards at the local championships, Sweden. He played 75 times for his nation, and scored eight goals.
