The strange animal looked like a whale and a dolphin, but the advanced decomposition situation made it difficult to identify, Kosovas Press broadcasts.
Scientists initially said they had no idea what it was, however, now that the animal could be a whale.
If so, this marks only the second time that one of the animals has been found in Namibia since 2000.
Python from the Namibian Dolphin (NDP) Project Simon Elwen said that at first glance, they had no idea what species it was about.
