News of Fadil Vokrrit's life-sharing, former renowned Kosovo football player, but also the head of the Kosovo Football Federation, shocked the overall Albanian sports opinion.

The head of the FFK lost his life on Saturday morning while he was in a financial center where he also had a heart attack, and despite quick aid and transportation to the hospital, he failed to survive.

Who was Fadil Vokrri?

Fadil Vokri was born on July 23, 1960, in Podujevo. With football, he started dealing as 15 years old, while at the age of 17 he debuted with KF Lip in Podujevo.

Then in 1980 he passed by KF Pristina, where he played 84 matches and scored 33 goals with this team in the Second League. Later in the First League of Yugoslavia, with Pristina's lantern there were 88 presentations and achieved 22 goals. The period of the years of '{0}'80 was gold for Vokrri, who in 1984 debuted on the Yugoslav representative team, becoming the only Albanian football player to appear at this representative, where he recorded 12 presentations and scored 6 goals.

In 1986 he moved to Belgrade's Partizan, where 13 goals were scored in 27 matches. He earned the superiority of the Kosovo football legend, as he was the host of the Olympic flag at the Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo in 1984, until 1987 the best player in Yugoslavia was declared.

In 1989 he moved to France to the Nimes team and then moved to the Turkish club Fenerbahce, where he played very successfully in the 1990-1992 editions.

In February 2008, he took the lead in the Kosovo Football Federation as the most needed man to lead this institution towards membership in the U. FIFA EFA.

After many lobbies, the FFK in 2014 managed to organize its first friendly international match with FIFA's permission at the BARdem Jasharı stadium against Haiti, which had ended 0-0.

Two years later, Vokrri led Kosovo's delegation to membership in UEFA and FIFA to mark the break in Kosovo football isolation once and for all.
