The FIFA sentence pronounced against two Swiss footballers originally from Kosovo has mobilised many to assist the Albanian pair, writes Periscopi.

Among the people who want to help are many politicians, including AAK MP Gani Dresey and Kamenica Community Chairman Stayn Kastrat.

But both football players are rich enough to pay their sentence without being in serious financial trouble. Shaqiri earns from 65 thousand euros a week, or about 4m euros a year. While Jaka earns more, 90 thousand euros a week, or more than 5m euros a year.

This translates that Shaqiri pays his sentence in just one day, while Jaka pays him for 18 hours somewhere. /Periscopi
