Shameful has called the absence of a memorial of Legendary Commander Adem Jashar in Kosovo's capital, Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy Bekim Haxhiu. He has declared it a disgrace to the capital that even 19 years after the war Pristina does not have a monument of legendary Commander Adem Jashar.
We are making investments in the regulation of a square, which would have to be Square “Adem Jashari” and that monument of the Communist era would have to be decided on the memorial of the national hero Adem Jashar. It's a shame, but it's a shame for the capital of the Republic of Kosovo 19 years after the war don't give me a monument of Adam Yasar here. For which values and whose agency are we charged with more than until the mention of Adam Jashar is absent. There have also been delays among political subjects in the past, those that have led the municipality of Pristina and the Government, and I think that these postponements would have to be in the positive aspect of which in advance would insist on having a better project for the memorial of Adem Jashar in Pristina, rather than being pushed for 1 metreth of ownership, because none of us would have managed to be in these seats where we are today without the heroic sacrifice of the Jashar family and the martyrs of the KLA”, he said.
Vetevendosje deputy Ali Lajci has also said it is time for the capital to set a memorial of Commander Adem Jashar.
“Today we have a national hero, Adem Jasharin, who groups of clans and others often consider to be their regional, regional, even the past, and does not have a monument. Look, we were and everyone in Prekaz knows what we have, knows what the conditions and how the memorial was made there, knows what donations have entered, we know today what the object of Adam Yashsar is, the value of armed historical resistance. But today we do not have a monument of him in downtown Pristina, which we should actually have as quickly as possible because it completes all of his goals and his war, which was actually at the level of Kosovo. Therefore, today it is not even Prekaz properly, but it is not even in the center of Kosovo's capital. It proposes that Adem Jashar's monument be in the centre of Pristina”, he said.
