As she was asked about the situation and the importance of the match against England, Martinez said: “Qualification was our priority. We want to play well, but the priority is not to win”.
All of this is done to avoid Brazil in the quarterfinals.
Belgium closed the first half with England in the draw, and is currently second in Group G.
In this match the only goal so far has been scored by Adnan Januzaj.
