“Albiceleste”, in fact, is in total chaos. The news going through tonight is amazing: players have officially demanded Sampaoli's departure from the national before the game with Nigeria.
The president of the Argentina Football Federation, Claudio Tapia, has initially accepted the player's request, but has changed his mind later after a meeting with the coach himself, confirming the latter. A more unique situation than a rare one that had never been verified before.
The group no longer trusts the coach and players, after realizing that the coach cannot be dismissed (would benefit a 16mm euro compensation), have asked the federation to take control of the team from this moment onward.
