Albanian police campaign: Do not consume alcohol if you are driving

In the course of its activities, State Police are fully committed to prevent road accidents aimed at increasing road safety parameters.

Not only the Road Police, but the General Patrol as well as the Eagles, one of their priorities has the prevention of road accidents, recording and punishing any violations of the Road Code. But police are not in themselves intent on imposing administrative measures, but on sensibling all road users to comply with road rules”, police report said.

We assure you that the fine or otherwise administrative measure is not the purpose of the police. Our goal is only to ensure safety in the streets, to respect the law, and not to punish. Punishment is extreme, and for that the State Police have repeatedly undertaken sensationalising campaigns and will continue them, to inform all road users, that the safety of life on the road comes from respecting road rules”, State Police have announced.
