He told Pink TV that the SPC deserved caution, respect and thanks for all it has always done, but that Serbia is a secular state where politicians, elected by the people, make decisions.

According to him, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq has genuine and great faith in what the church does, it must be understood that the church has its own positions on the Kosovo issue, but that does not mean it must act as it says.
