Sali McMaj was arrested in his office on July 20, 2015. Mekaj is accused of abuse of office, because from the quality of the president of Appeals, he is said to have favored Vlora Goran, the wife of a prisoner who has been in the process of court in Apel, and with whom McAj has also established extramarital ties.
In addition to this case, the protagonist of the relative “proton” mentioned in the course of political bargaining that Adem Grabovci mentions in wiretapping published by “Inside”, specifically to be appointed to the position of the chairman of Appeals. Before that position, Sally McAw was chairman of the Court of the Foundation in Pec.
